2 & 21

Drew is 21 months old today and Brynn is 2 months old today!  I need to add pictures and brag about my little sweethearts.

Drew is growing like a weed.  He finally is getting all of his teeth and he babbles like crazy and beginning to say more words. He is experimenting with his independence and that has provided for new challenges in our house. :)  He is still a timid little one and is easily overwhelmed with loud, active kids, but we are breaking him in.  He LOVES to play outside and go on walks.  He is a big fan of animals and big trucks, tractors and well, pretty much anything with wheels.  He also has become a big fan of his little sissy!  He often wants to hold her, pet and pat her, give her a pacifier and suck out her nose with the bulb syringe.

Brynn is still a sleeping pro.  I put her down about 8:30 last night and I thought that I would wake her up around 10 to feed her and put her down for the night.  I have done that for a week or so so that she'll wake up at 4 or 5 rather than 2 or 3.  Anyway, Friday night she was DEAD asleep at 10 but I still woke her up, which made me think on Sat night that I would just see what would happen.  She slept until 5:45!!  Happy Mother's Day to me!!!  (Except Drew woke up at 2 and was up for just a short time so my night wasn't completely uninterrupted.)  She gives sweet smiles and coos more now.  Her neck is SO strong.  And she found her thumb and started sucking on that when she is going to sleep.  I thought that seemed a lot earlier than Drew, but I looked it up and he was only 1 1/2 weeks older.  Anyway, it's so cute!

Two Months Old...Strong babe!

 I love my two babies!  They are so sweet and calm...I need them.  I love being a mom, although there are days that I need to try hard to remember that I do...but I wouldn't want to be doing anything else.

My sister, Holly, her family, my parents, and my little family all got together at a restaurant in Loma to celebrate our mom! Brynn was screaming her head off under that covering.  That's always fun while taking pictures! :)
